HOW DO YOU DO? FEELIN' ALRIGHT? I hope you are as well as I am, for as far as I'm concerned, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY. Since I am aware that you may have seen better homepages than mine in the Internet, I do feel obliged to point out that there is only but one that is dealing with me. And if you want to get to know something about me, then here WHAT YOU GET IS WHAT YOU SEE .

So let's get to see me. That's THE LOOK :
Martin Winkler

IN MY DEFENCE, what is there to say? I AM WHAT I AM, and what I am needs no excuses. And perhaps reading my WALK OF LIFE can aid your understanding, for IT'S PROBABLY ME (or at least as close as it can get using only WORDS).
To be brief, I studied Technical Mathematics (mathematical computer sciences) on the Technical University Vienna (Austria) and on the Loughborough University (England).

IT'S A HARD LIFE! Out of interest, ambition, and in order to earn MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, I joined the Web-Based Technologies Group of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in February 2000, an assignment which included both consulting and software-development within the area of e-commerce.
When my managers left the company and founded the Management Factory, a small consulting firm targeting growth-oriented companies in the local markets, I joined them in September 2001. Since the company split into two in 2003, I now work for the Solutions Factory, which specializes in the ERP system Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta.

But of course I'm not only SPENDING MY TIME on MONEY AND FAME. Actually, there are some entirely different areas I engage in.
In my spare time I am DREAMING MY DREAMS. To be precise, I HAVE A DREAM that this could be HEAVEN FOR EVERYONE. Since this old dream of HUMANITY obviously comes close to SCIENCE FICTION, I have the opportunity to mention that I am a believing and practising Star Trekker. I simply love this show, in which they are KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR.
On the computer, there is one (and only one) game I love to play.
THE NAME OF THE GAME is Civilization II, and I think it's great. Unlike Star Trek (and in that sense even better), I occasionally PLAY THE GAME all day and ALL NIGHT LONG.
It just came to my mind hat I forgot to mention
CHESS, the other game I like. Although I am not very talented (and haven't engaged in competitions for a while), it is a sport in which I achieved results a little above standard, and not, as usually, below. Left aside chess, I engage in sports like pool billiards (miserable, but enthusiastic), shuffleboard (I love it!), and dancing.
As you may have noticed already, I kind of like music, as long as it's good. But what should you expect -
I AM FROM AUSTRIA. So I say „THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC“ to all the good writers and composers I've ever listened to. I do, however, prefer the old stuff (that is, from about 1650 to about 1990), even if IT'S all just STILL ROCK'N'ROLL TO ME.
    Turning to
THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, you may have a look at the list of the song titles I've used for writing this page.

There is one more aspect of my life I want to bother you with, and it's quite uncommon on homepages, I think: Politics. Now don't be frightened, I kept it agreeable, but I included a paragraph because to me politics is of interest (and there are many great songs about it).
    Although, for my part,
I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KING, I do agree with Tina Turner: In the Western democracies, WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER HERO. It's not that EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT, but there is a central problem with HEROES: There are no PERFECT people, even YOU'RE ONLY HUMAN, and even I make my share of mistakes. And a single person will make more radical mistakes than a community. However, we do need a community interested in politics - single-minded leaders with radical ideas only lure simple-minded people who are too lazy to think and are just HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO. This could further the arousal of dictatorships and lead to BROTHERS IN ARMS. And then again ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Sadly enough, still, there are many countries on which history has played a bad trick. In these, I hope that the WIND OF CHANGE will ring the freedom bell for peace of mind.

WHY DON'T YOU WRITE ME and send me YOUR CONGRATULATIONS? Now that you're KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU could be nice. Feel free to criticise EVERYTHING I SAID. I promise I'll read your mail anyway, for YOU MAY BE RIGHT. You may be wrong, but you may be right. Those who were right already, by the way, can be found in my guestbook.

Since I have a counter, I GET A KICK OUT OF YOU:   I Get a Kick out of You

Now I'm ON MY WAY HOME, so it's time to say GOOD NIGHT AND THANK YOU for your attentiveness. And if you did not entirely dislike my page, please do return, for

THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
